The 8 Studio Spaces are located both upstairs and down at the Firestation. Each is rented by one or
more printmaking artists. The rent for each studio is heavily subsidised by The Firestation and this is made
possible by the generous and continued support of City of Stonnington. The resident artists also receive
major discounts on Print Studio access fees and Print Gallery rental, in return for a specified number of
volunteer hours each month, to help run The Firestation. One to two studios become vacant per year, keep
an eye on the website for news of vacancies or add your name to the waiting list.

There are currently 11 Artist-in-Residence at the Firestation.

How to Rent a Studio Space Upstairs at The Firestation:

1. Addition of Applicant’s name to the Waiting List
   Contact Leigh-Anne at the Studio. Applicant must be a potential user of the
   Print Studios, ie a printmaker
2. Studio becomes available
3. Submission of Application to the Committee for review
4. Reply to Applicant
